Reliable, self-contained safety for remote operations
Proserv’s hydraulic self-contained safety system provides a highly dependable control solution for Shutdown Valves (SDVs) and Surface Safety Valves (SSVs). Engineered as a cost effective, fit for purpose panel, it is specifically designed for remote or unmanned locations where external power sources are unavailable.
Once commissioned, the system maintains the valve in an open position under normal operating conditions. In the event of a defined safety trigger, the system automatically executes a rapid shutdown sequence. This includes responses to high and low pressure conditions in the pipeline to ensure immediate protection of personnel, assets and the environment.
The hydraulic self-contained system can be integrated with a cost effective, battery powered or solar powered microcontroller to enable remote shutdown functionality. Using signals from flowline pressure transmitters, the system safeguards pipeline integrity, while fusible plug input provides a reliable layer of protection against fire related incidents.
Additional diagnostic and monitoring capabilities can be incorporated to meet operator requirements, including flowline pressure, annulus pressure or other critical well or pipeline parameters.
Remote control options are available via wired or wireless communication protocols, enhancing operational flexibility across a broad range of field scenarios.
