An in-depth video interview that our Vice President, Services, Angus Rodger gave to major Middle East energy news platform Energy Connects against the backdrop of the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference earlier this month has now gone live. In a wide-ranging discussion, Angus speaks about the current strategic priorities in the energy industry, how we are driving forward with exciting technology innovation and looking forward to yet another positive year in 2023.

The Global Underwater Hub has featured some of our recent news stories in its current autumn Global Underwater Hub News Magazine. The appointment of Hugh McNeal, the former CEO of RenewableUK, to our Board of Directors this summer comes under the spotlight, alongside the continued exciting progress of our holistic cable management system, ECG™, with its placement this year on Equinor’s floating Hywind Scotland Wind Farm to analyse the condition and integrity of export and inter-array cables across the asset.

Our VP, Services, Angus Rodger has supplied a thought leader to OGV Energy’s latest monthly title looking at the need to reimagine the service model, as the transition and advanced technologies push the energy sector onwards. Angus references Proserv’s long-standing reputation for broad service expertise but he emphasises how, as a leading support provider, we are keen to deliver a more holistic asset and infrastructure management package, incorporating our digital technology offerings.

Our VP, Digital Innovation, Stuart Harvey has provided a fascinating thought leader looking at the powerful potential of real-time optimisation (RTO) for OGV Energy’s current monthly title. Stuart explains that RTO could be transformative for operators and asset owners giving them far greater insight into the condition of critical infrastructure and its likely life expectancy, enabling the introduction of life extension strategies and increased return on investment. RTO, as Stuart explains, could offer considerable support to the green energy segment with maturing wind farms being able to operate for a decade beyond their intended design life, not only generating additional revenue but delaying expensive decommissioning processes.
